SW Washington Fishing Report

The Cowlitz will likely remain the best option for steelheaders but fish should also be available on the East and North Fork of the Lewis as well as a few fish on the Kalama. The Washougal should also harbor a mix of spent and fresh fish.

Many anglers will turn their focus to other parts of the state after the first of the year.

Razor clam digging should be good on the upcoming opener near Long Beach and north.
Opening dates and evening low tides for the upcoming dig are:
• Dec. 31, Fri. – 3:40 p.m., (0 ft.), Long Beach, Twin Harbors, Copalis, Mocrocks, Kalaloch
• Jan. 1, Sat. – 4:31 p.m., (-0.4 ft.), Long Beach, Twin Harbors, Copalis, Mocrocks, Kalaloch
• Jan. 2, Sun. – 5:18 p.m., (-0.7 ft.), Twin Harbors

No digging will be allowed on any beach before noon.
