SW Washington Fishing

Barrier Dam anglers are catching a mix of chinook and coho, most of which are dark and are being released. Steelhead and cutthroat trout are hitting at the trout hatchery. Ten winter steelhead have been counted at the salmon hatchery as of last week. The Kalama and Lewis have both chinook and coho available although most are turning dark. The best chance at a bright coho remains on the Lewis. Klickitat River anglers are taking fair numbers of coho and action should remain fair for another few weeks.

Hay guys I love your Program and I am going to join as soon as I get out of the Hospital. But I do have a complaint about some of the guides. The older guides our grate and I will usually give them the room they need for their clients, but you have some young guides out there that need to have a class in manors and education of water safety I am not the only ones that have had problems with these younger guides but the older one need to take them in tow or there going to be trouble out on the big river and some of the small ones too. I am a nice guy until some one cuts me off and anchor's 10ft off my bow and I have been in the spot for hours.
