SW Washington fishing update
SW Washington- The Cowlitz continues to produce summer steelhead but fall chinook catches are improving. Coho should start to show in the upcoming weeks but chinook numbers should increase in the coming days.
Drano Lake trollers are still taking good numbers of steelhead but the vast majority of fish are wild, requiring release. Fall chinook should become much more readily available with dam passage increasing dramatically.
The Wind River fishery is also producing good steelhead catches and chinook should become a strong option by the weekend.
Crane Prairie has been producing good numbers of large trout to those drifting leaches.
