Washington fishing update

Southwest Washington - Cowlitz River boat anglers averaged a fish for every rod downstream of the Kelso Bridge last week. Fall Chinook are also present in the lower Cowlitz and Kalama Rivers.

Drano Lake anglers were faring well for steelhead with nearly 70% of the catch of hatchery origin. Some Chinook are also being taken.
